Martin Scorsese’s Casino is an outstanding film about the underbelly of the gambling industry. It features an outstanding cast led by Robert De Niro as Sam Rothstein, a sleazy Vegas mogul. De Niro is ably supported by Sharon Stone as Ginger McKenna, a beautiful and charming casino hustler. And Joe Pesci as Lester Diamond adds much-needed tension to the proceedings. From the bravura set pieces to the sly humor, this is an exciting and entertaining movie.
